Leading Organizations Workshop

Today’s organizational leadership requires clarity of thought, purpose, and action in the face of complexity, uncertainty, and volatility. Developing the needed clarity requires leaders who can inspire and shape the future, and who act as value-based role models. Leading Organizations workshop is a Baldridge-based Executive Leadership Program.  The program is designed to help you position your organization for growth through more effective leadership in a complex and ever-changing marketplace.

Our program develops senior-level decision-makers to lead their organizations capably and effectively to achieve strategic goals and obtain organizational vision. The series is designed for CEOs and senior executives who want to promote quality, conduct continuous improvement, and achieve their organizations’ mission, vision, and values.

Peregrine provides a blended approach to executive education with virtual or in-person workshops, 360-degree assessments, and online, self-guided modules. The 10-day program is conducted over a 6 to 12 month period.

You can readily adjust each workshop or program to incorporate any organizational-specific requirements. You also will receive a program that incorporates your organization’s mission, vision, values, and goals. Workshops are typically conducted two full days in a row. Sometimes, however, we break these up into 4-hour blocks to accommodate the availability of the participants.

Peregrine’s workshops and programs are engaging, participatory, and impactful. We strive to engage all participants into the conversation and, with the facilitated discussions, the team will experience the desired change. Peregrine provides both in-person and virtual workshops. Reduce the cost of in-person training by going virtual while also increasing engagement.

We Promote Application

Our team-based workshops promote application of lessons learned to the participant’s workplace situation. We use film clips, training videos, and movies to help demonstrate the desirable behaviors. Individual and small group exercises are designed to reinforce the learning outcomes and show the participants how to apply the material to their specific situation.

Virtual and Online Solutions

Along with the option to provide a virtual workshop, Peregrine also has a portfolio of online, self-guided courses that can help you maximize your team’s professional development. When online courses are completed as  a workshop prerequisite, time during the workshop tends to focus more on workplace application rather than content instruction.

A Baldridge-based Program


The principle aims of the Leading Organizations: A Baldrige-based Executive Leadership Program are to:

  1. Teach, use, and learn how to apply the Baldrige Excellence Framework and the various tools of excellence for organizational decision-making and problem solving.
  2. Recognize the challenge of change and the consequences of change while operating as a strategic leader within a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment.
  3. Cultivate values-based strategic leaders who exemplify the highest standards of ethics and morale character.
  4. Broaden the perspectives and frame of references of the participants beyond their respective organizations and industries for cross-sector and cross-profession learning, and then leverage this knowledge for organizational improvement and strategic sustainability.

Learning Outcomes

Grounded in the Baldrige Excellence Framework, the specific learning outcomes for the program are as follows:

  1. Know the values, skills, and actions of an organizational leader and perform organizational leadership activities.
  2. Know corporate governance procedures and how best to integrate with the governing board.

Application is taught through engaging discussions after watching films, videos, and short clips that demonstrate and reinforce concepts. Also, the use of films prevents the need for role-playing – keeping the training positive and comfortable.

Each participant receives a Personal Leadership Development Plan and a workbook. The Personal Leadership Development Plan allows you to document key takeaways and identify specific action items. The workbook includes all the presentation content so that you can easily take notes and refer back to what you have learned.
