Lidia Aguilar, Client Engagement Specialist, possesses a radiant energy that is infectious and creates a positive experience for everyone she meets. Lidia is a natural educator and uses this ability to impart knowledge to clients, partner organizations, and learners. In her role, she educates and onboards new and existing clients, manages projects, gives presentations, and serves as an expert on Peregrine’s services. Lidia enjoys the range of tasks and responsibilities in each workday and finds the challenge of adapting and shifting rewarding.
Lidia’s interest in education began while obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. During this time, she worked at her university as a tutor with the Upward Bound Program. Lidia delighted in engaging with students and helping them successfully transition from high school to college. Over the years, she has continued to act as a teacher and mentor in various roles, including working as an office clerk and English/Spanish translator in k12 education and her current part-time role as a dance instructor at the Dance Arts studio Gillette Wyoming.
When Lidia is not at work, she is busy running a small business. Her propensity toward solving problems is apparent as she started a women’s clothing boutique in 2021 after seeing a gap in available clothing in her hometown. Lidia also enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and visiting national parks. However, as a fan of Harry Potter and Disney, she often can be found enjoying movie nights with her husband and pets.
