Deanna Edmondson, Director of Finance, takes pride in being part of a “more than just for-profit business” with a team that embraces its ability to make a positive change in the world. Deanna contributes to Peregrine’s mission wholeheartedly as she ensures that the business runs smoothly. Hired in 2018, Deanna serves as an integral manager of our financial functions, providing accurate record-keeping, generating reports, and developing processes related to accounts receivable and invoicing, accounts payable and bills, payroll and benefits management, and employee onboarding. She also is responsible for submitting required state and federal employment tax documents and working closely with accounting partners.
Deanna has 25 years of experience in the field, including office management and business/financial advisement for several start-up companies. In those roles, she was instrumental in helping establish the business, acquire loans, develop human resources processes, create intra-office communication protocols, maintain employee benefits, and oversee all accounting functions. Deanna is well known among her team members at Peregrine for her sunny disposition and constant willingness to help.
When Deanna is not busy supporting the Peregrine team, she spends time with her family including, her two adult children and her new grandbaby. With her family, Deanna likes to go paddleboarding, hiking, attend concerts, and eat delicious food. When alone, she is always happy to curl up with a good book.
