Internship Description

We seek an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our Business Development Team. The selected intern will assist with various marketing activities, primarily focusing on project management, design, and digital content creation and management. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in a career in marketing or related fields.

The internship lasts for 12 weeks and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in projects and initiatives, gaining substantial experience and insights.

Applicants must be current high school or college students aged 16 to 24, as specified by our internship guidelines.

Intern Responsibilities

  • Assist in writing and editing copy for various communication mediums, including website content, email campaigns, promotional materials, and blog entries. Learn best practices in creating engaging newsletters and other communications.
  • Support design projects using tools like Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator to create materials such as brochures, catalogs, and posters. Gain experience in the basics of graphic design.
  • Help manage social media channels by assisting in content creation and deployment. This includes drafting messages, scheduling posts, and engaging with audience comments. Learn to analyze social media performance.
  • Assist in updating website content and copy, focusing on maintaining SEO and brand consistency. Learn to navigate content management systems.
  • Actively participate in the high-level delivery of a new website, contributing to both strategy and execution to ensure a successful launch.
  • Contribute to developing articles, blog posts, and social media content that aligns with audience interests. Gain insights into content strategy and creation.
  • Help in creating presentations and webinars designed to engage clients and stakeholders. Learn effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Support the implementation of SEO strategies and monitor critical metrics like website traffic and engagement. Learn the fundamentals of SEO and web analytics.
  • Assist in developing lead generation strategies, including creating and optimizing forms and landing pages. Understand the basics of lead capture and conversion.
  • Participate in additional marketing initiatives as needed, providing support and gaining experience in diverse marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Currently a high school or college student age 16-24
  • A strong interest in writing, content creation, and the marketing industry.
  • Willingness to learn and tackle challenges with a creative approach.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Basic familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • Basic familiarity with social media.
