Dr. Noll has always had the drive to help people through education. With over 30 years of experience in higher education as a faculty member and administrator, she has mentored countless students and supported their journey to being the best they can be.
Dr. Noll began her career as an educator at Eastern Illinois University, where she taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She was recognized for her teaching, research, and service in the School of Business and the University with a distinguished professor award, two teaching awards, and an achievement and contribution award. Having worked hard to obtain her education, Dr. Noll felt an intrinsic responsibility to motivate students and demonstrate that success is possible.
After teaching for ten years, Dr. Noll followed a leadership career path, moving into administrative roles at Eastern Illinois University as Coordinator of Graduate Business Studies, Associate Chair, and Chair of the School of Business. She enjoyed being in the classroom but believed that she could make a more significant impact as an administrator. Dr. Noll served at Eastern Illinois University for 23 years. These experiences prepared her to be the Dean of the College of Business-System Wide at South University, where she served for eight years.
In her leadership roles, Dr. Noll managed staff and faculty and coordinated all activities supporting programmatic accreditation (AACSB and ACBSP), curriculum, assessment, policy development, and strategic planning. She was responsible for the allocation of resources, both appropriated and non-appropriated. Dr. Noll has also been extensively involved in the activities of institution accreditation, including the HLC and SACS-COC. In addition, she has experience with coordinating philanthropic activities and securing gifts and funding to support students, faculty, and operations. Dr. Noll is skilled at seeing the larger picture and putting the right pieces in place to achieve organizational goals.
Dr. Noll earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from West Liberty University, her MBA from Wheeling Jesuit University, and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. She was an active writer and has had scholarly works published in peer-reviewed publications.
During her higher education career, Dr. Noll was an active thought partner of Peregrine Global Services for many years. She is now privileged to be a part of the Peregrine team following her retirement from South University. In her spare time, Dr. Noll loves to bake, read, walk, and draw. She also makes time to support her community through philanthropic and service activities.
